Pathway for Financial Inclusion

Welcome to Trauma of Wealth Plus, a pioneering initiative dedicated to helping minority communities overcome the unique challenges of financial trauma and beyond.

Our mission is to break down the barriers that have kept marginalized groups from accessing and building wealth, offering expert guidance, education, and support to anyone who has needs, particularly the BIPOC community, to regain financial independence and inclusion.

What is
TRAUMA OF
WEALTH PLUS
(TOW+)

Trauma of Wealth is more than a program; it’s a movement that supports community leaders serving Black and marginalized communities. Our goal is to help reclaim financial independence, build generational wealth, and create true financial fairness.

Using our ROOTS Methodology, we address financial struggles caused by systemic barriers, cultural beliefs, personal experiences, war, displacement, and inequality. Guided by the lived experiences of Black communities and proven strategies, we provide a practical and thoughtful approach to overcoming financial challenges.

The Trauma of Wealth (TOW+) framework focuses on how systemic inequality and harmful mindsets create financial and emotional difficulties for marginalized communities, especially Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). These issues lead to generational setbacks and everyday financial struggles, making it harder to achieve financial freedom.

Join us in changing this narrative. Together, we can heal financial wounds and open doors to fairness, empowerment, and lasting wealth.

Why our program
is important.

Trauma as a Root Cause of Poverty

Unresolved trauma significantly impacts financial decision-making, often leading to cycles of hardship and financial instability. Research shows that individuals with unresolved trauma are up to 50% more likely to face long-term poverty due to impaired decision-making and diminished resilience in financial crises.

Empowering Newcomers and Refugees

Our program integrates trauma-informed financial education to address the unique challenges of newcomers and refugees. By combining financial knowledge with healing pathways, we help participants rebuild confidence and break cycles of financial distress.

Transforming Mindsets

Financial literacy is about more than just numbers; it's about addressing psychological and emotional barriers. Our approach empowers individuals to make informed decisions by overcoming trauma-induced fears and behavioral patterns.

Advocating for Policy Change

We champion the adoption of trauma-informed practices in financial inclusion strategies. By influencing policymakers, we aim to ensure that financial institutions recognize trauma's role in economic inequities and implement supportive frameworks.

Building Inclusive Foundations

Financial institutions play a pivotal role in economic stability. Addressing trauma as part of financial empowerment ensures true inclusion and helps marginalized groups achieve lasting financial independence.
